How do I order lenses?  Ordering online is easy.  After you’ve had an eye exam and your doctor has provided a valid prescription, simply log into your doctor’s website, select the number of lenses you want and place your order.  You may order individual boxes of lenses or sign up for a subscription service and have the lenses delivered on a regular basis.  If you don’t have a login, call your eye care professional, and they will send you to log in information.

How do I get a login?  Call your eye care professional, and they will set you up in their online ordering website, which automatically generates a login.

How does the subscription work?  Doctors may offer monthly and quarterly subscriptions.  Like other subscription services, your card is charged either monthly or quarterly and lenses ship to you on the cycle. You can cancel or pause anytime. There is no commitment.

What is the difference between the monthly and quarterly subscription?  A monthly subscription includes 60 lenses (30 per eye) and ships each month.  A quarterly subscription includes 180 lenses (90 per eye) and ships every 90 days.  Shipping is charged each time lenses ship, so monthly prescriptions have more shipping and handling costs than a quarterly subscription.  Monthly subscriptions ship twelve times per year and quarterly subscriptions ship four times per year.

I don’t wear contact lenses each day. Can I change my subscription?  If you find you have plenty of lenses on hand, log in and pause your subscription for 30 or 60 days. Shipments will resume after that duration.

May I pause or cancel my subscription?  Yes, you may pause or cancel your subscription at any time, with no additional fees or charges.  Simply log in and go to Orders in the Dashboard.  Select Pause Subscription and select the duration of the pause: 30 or 60 days. The subscription will resume after that duration.

Do I need a prescription to order contact lenses?  Yes, you need a valid prescription to order contact lenses.  If you are due for an eye exam, contact your current eye doctor or if you are looking for an eye doctor, use the doctor locator on mycontactlensorders.com to find an eye doctor near you.  Eye care professionals provide contact lens prescriptions.

What if I don’t have my prescription?  After you have your eyes examined, your eye doctor may issue a prescription. The prescription will be loaded into your account so that you can order lenses.  If the prescription is not showing in the online ordering system, please call your doctor and they will enter it for you.

I saw my doctor and tried to order lenses, but the website says the prescription isn’t valid?  Your eye doctor will enter your subscription into the online system.  If you received trial lenses, it’s possible that your doctor has not finalized the prescription until he or she hears from you. If you are happy with the lenses and are ready to order, please call your doctor to finalize the prescription.

How long is my prescription valid? Contact lens prescriptions are valid for a minimum of one year and depending on the state you live in, it may be good for two years.  Log into the online ordering system, view the expiration date of your prescription or call your doctor and they will provide the prescription expiration date.

What if my prescription is expired? You should visit your eye care professional for a vision exam.  We can’t ship your order without a current prescription.

My prescription expires soon. Can I reorder lenses?  You may reorder lenses up until the time your prescription expires.

How do I read my prescription?   OD is the right eye.  OS is the left eye and is listed second.  The power of a lens is indicated with a plus sign (+) for hyperopia and a minus sign (-) for myopia.  The base curve indicates the curvature of the inside of the lens.  The lens diameter measures the lens in millimeters.

What happens if my prescription changes? If your prescription changes unopened boxes of lenses may be exchanged for another power for a certain period of time.  Contact your eye care professional for specific details.

What if I want to order for only one eye?  If you want to order lenses for one eye, call your eye care professional.  They will place the order offline.

Where do you ship? We currently ship within the United States and Puerto Rico.

What is the cost of shipping?  Shipping prices are available when you log-in to the system and vary depending on whether the shipping is regular or expedited. Shipping is free for annual supply orders (eight 90 lens boxes).

How long does shipping take?  Regular shipments normally take between 3-5 business days from receipt of payment.

When is my card charged?  Your card is charged each time your lenses are shipped.

What forms of payment do you accept?  We accept many forms of payment (insert stripe language)

Do you accept vision insurance?  Ask your eye care professional which insurance plans they accept.  Based on the insurance, they may adjust your total payment by the insurance amount.  You may also print out an invoice and submit it to your insurance company directly.

Can I use my Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to pay for my order?  You can purchase contact lens products using a regular credit card and submit the invoice for reimbursement.

How do I get a receipt to submit to my vision care insurance provider?  After an order is placed, the patient will receive an email with the details of the order.  Print out the email to submit to the vision care insurance provider. Ask your eye care professional if they will submit the invoice to the insurance company.

How do I check the status of my order?  Log into your doctor’s online website and you may check the status of your order.  Or simply, call your eye care professional.

What is the return policy?  Ask your eye care professional about their return policy as the policy varies from practice to practice.  To return lenses, the lens boxes must be unopened and the flaps intact and the boxes are unmarked with no writing on them.

How do I sign in if I can’t remember my email and/or my password?  If you have forgotten your email or password, click the Forgot Account Name or Forgot Password on the log in page and an email will be sent to you.

How do I get a log in?  Contact your eye care professional and if they offer online ordering, they will set you up with a log in and temporary password.

What if my doctor is outside the United States?  Online ordering is currently available for shipments within the United States and Puerto Rico.

Do you ship outside of the United States?  Currently, we only ship to the United States and Puerto Rico.

What is the power range of the lenses?  SimplifEyes 1Day lenses are currently offered in powers ranging from -0.50 to -6.00 and +0.50 to +4.00.

Do the lenses have UV filters?  Yes, the lenses have UV filters.

Are contact lenses FDA approved?  SimplifEyes 1 Day lenses have been cleared by the FDA for sale in the United States.

Do you offer toric lenses or multifocal or bifocal contact lenses on this website?  Currently, we are offering daily disposable contact lenses on this website.  Other lenses are available for patients who have astigmatism and are looking for help in seeing up close.  Ask your eye care professional about these lenses.
